Roemers.jpg (334749 bytes) Roemer's Texas This book first published in 1935, was a translation by Oswald Mueller. This is a scientific and social narrative of the first days of settlement in Texas ca. 1845-47 by the German " Adelsverein" and the immigrants they brought to the Texas Hill Country. Very detailed description of the climate, flora, fauna and geology of the Gillespie Co. region.
