see a selection of our digitized collection
The Gillespie
County Historical Society has a section of our Society Center dedicated to
the storage of our non-exhibited collections and archives. We house
approximately 300,000
photographs/negatives, 1000 antique woodworking
tools, 500 newspapers, 200 textile pieces, and various assortment of
furniture, paintings, domestic artifacts, sporting trophies, swords, guns,
and much, much more. We
currently ( November 2005) have over 8000 database records and over 2000
images digitized |
