County Historical Society The 2005 Christmas Home Tour was a RECORD success! (see below) Watch here for details on the 2006 event!
The weekend offers an exclusive peek
into 10 private properties in and around Fredericksburg. The Home Tour
covers a range from new to historic; from quaint to sprawling; and from
in-town to country properties. This year's Christmas Home Tour features
more than 25 different structures, with none of the residences having been
on the tour in the past 11 years. The Historical Society museums are
included in the ticket price, and ticket holders are welcome to visit them
later should they run out of time on the day of the tour. Home Tours are self-guided and include
a detailed map booklet. Tour hours are from noon - 6:pm on Saturday,
December 10, 2005, only. Tickets for the
Christmas Home Tour are $25 per person.
Individuals purchasing more
than one Home Tour ticket will receive an additional free museum pass for
each extra ticket, up to a total of nine. Tickets for the Christmas Home Tour can also be purchased at the Vereins Kirche, Pioneer Museum, Knopp & Metzger Dept. Store, Gasthaus Schmidt, Stonehill Spinning and Historical Society offices at 312 West San Antonio St. All funds raised
help continue the operation of the museums and educational programming on
the history of the area. To see information on our Stars of Texas Preservation Awards Luncheon on DEC 11th, click here. To see some of
